Dear Uncle Phil,
I just want to let you know that I think of you. I just wanted to reiterate your impact on me. I spent the later years of your life worrying about my own affairs. I maintained little contact, and for that I have regrets. I wish that I had spent more time with you. I am very thankful that you were so good to us when we were kids. Your death was unfair to you and your kids. I'm sorry you are gone. I hope and pray that you are at peace. That you have found what you were looking for in life.
Thank you for your kindness and your interest in our lives. You are gone, but not forgotten.
