Jay, I was looking for words to use for a memorial service for a friend and ran across the poem you wrote for your wife. She was born the same year I was and it struck me how lucky she was to have a man who loved her so much. I can read from your poem that you felt the same way. Thanks for sharing and I hope you find peace.

Thanks Jay for sharing with us from your love, your loss, and your hope. I am reminded of a story that Victor Frankl tells in "Man's Search for Meaning" about a man who found purpose in the midst of his grief when he realized that the last gift of true love that he gave his wife was to be the one to go through the pain of separation when she died first.
