It's only been a month since you've been gone dear brother. I miss you so very much.The tears were uncontrollable a few days ago. I think about you when im driving or when I go outside and the wind blows in my face.I will always remember when you would make me laugh or when I needed you, you would be there for me. Or when you would keep the boys away from me when we were in middle school,and how you comforted our father with prayer at the time of his death from cancer. you never failed to put a smile on my children's faces when you would come to visit. What a beautiful soul you were. For that and many other reasons I will miss you dearly. I have no doubt that you are looking out for us. There is a void in my heart until we meet again. Love you forever big brother!

hey baby it is me esmeralda i reamember that when you want to the docs with me and found out that we were having a boy and we were happy and that baby boy was gabriel elijah gallardo jr and i was happy even you got me mad but always had something to say to make me not mad at you and just get me out that mood. i remember when you seen your son for the first time and both of you never been apart even intell this dat so you were the one that told me to keep fighting for my girls cause you never gave up nether so i love you and i cant waite to meet up with you so tell then you will be missed and loved always baby.

Dad, i miss you very dearly! i think of you everyday, how we would make our crosses to sell,and take a walk in the park,how you would sit me down and read me the bible and tell me to fly high like an eagle, you were all i had my best friend my partner and most of all my dad! we could work through the hardest situations. you taught me life an taught me how to be a strong young lady! i know your watching over me, i feel you when i sit outside alone. i miss you so very much an i know we will be reunited again one day! it hurts to know that you wont be here to see me grow, or to see your grandsons first day of school. but all i can do is what you taught me, stay strong and trust in god. i love you dad!!!!!

I still Love you very much.I think about you everyday. You always made my brother and I laugh with the silly names you would give the dogs n cats we would see on the streets,and the funny names you would call us.You made us happy,and you always brought joy to our family.  Not So Long Ago

Not so long ago...all you kids were hanging out at Grandma & Grandpa's house on Brady Street. You all would run in the front door and out the back, a steady stream of yelling “traviesos”. At night you would all line up on the floor, rolled up in your blankets like tacos. Grandma would be so happy and Grandpa would be cussing cause he would almost trip over ya'll in the dark. Everybody would start giggling and that would go on till the wee hours of the morning. That is how I remember you, in the middle of that pile of kids. Your beautiful little brown face tanned by the summer sun. I will also remember those long phone conversations we used to have. When we talked about the goodness of the Lord. You would say that you felt encouraged after we talked...well, I felt the same way. That was...Not so long ago. I love you mijo and I miss you!
