God of Hope,

I ask that you would be near to Samantha in this difficult time as she grieves the loss of her love. I have no words that feel adequate to the pain of loss. I trust that her wordless cries are also prayers reaching to your heart.

May she be supported and encouraged by the presence of those who will listen deeply and love much. May she find ways to express her story and be true to herself. May she day know a peace that carries her through and glimmers of hope for her darkest days.
